General Information

 

1.         Candidates seeking admission to AIT are required to take AIEEE-(Yr*) (All India Engineering Entrance Examination-(Yr*)) conducted by CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education).

 

2.         Application forms and the AIEEE-(Yr*) Information Bulletin are made available at specified bank branches and institutions designated by CBSE. Details of this are likely to be advertised by AIEEE-(Yr*) in leading national newspapers in the month of December(Yr*-1) .

 

3.         Candidates should refer to AIEEE-(Yr*) Information Bulletin for syllabus of the examination, the last date of receipt of application form by AIEEE-(Yr*), and any other related information.

 

4.         Applicants are advised not to contact AIT for AIEEE-(Yr*) Information Bulletin or any other CBSE examination related information.

 

5.         Filling up of both AIEEE-(Yr*) Form and AIT application form is mandatory. Candidates failing to fill any one form in time will not be eligible for admission to AIT.

 

6.         Candidate should send the duly filled AIT Admission Form, Certificates 1 to 6 as applicable, other supporting documents, Acknowledgement Card and address details included in this prospectus so as to reach AIT on or before15th May (Yr*). Forms received after 15th May (Yr*) will not be considered.

 

7.         Candidates must state the AIEEE roll no. and the AIEEE application serial number at appropriate place in the AIT application form. Absence of these important inputs may result in rejection of the AIT application form.

 

8.          The AIT merit list is prepared on the basis of performance of the candidate in the AIEEE-(Yr*) with weightages as specified in the AIT prospectus, if applicable.

 

9.          All disputes about sale of prospectus, admission to the institute and any other matter pertaining to AIT shall fall within the jurisdiction of courts in PUNE.
