AIT admission is based on the All India Ranking obtained in the Joint Entrance Exam (Main) conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) and some weightage is given for wards of disabled Soldiers, War Widows and Gallantry Award winners.

All applicants are therefore required to appear in JEE Main 2024, the best of the two percentile scores will be considered by NTA for preparation of JEE (Main) final merit list and All India Rank. (In AIT, last year s last admitted student s All India Ranking was 1,89,573).

Migration to Second/ Third Year

SOP for Migration/ Change of Branch Students of AIT (Sep 2021)
Rule: Migration allowed from one university to another University upto third year within Maharashtra state only.
For migration to AIT, the candidate must be a ward of serviceman or ex-serviceman from army only and must fulfill basic eligibility criteria spelt out in the college website.
Candidate desirous to migrate must have completed first /second year engineering from any engineering college within Maharashtra State only.
He should have cleared all the subjects and no ATKT/Backlog is allowed for migration.
Eligible candidates should apply on plain paper along with mark sheets (Xerox) of pervious year (FE / SE as applicable) (both semesters).
Based on the vacancies existing in branches, the applicant will get admission as per the Merit list based on the candidates qualifying exam.
Vacancies will be filled up strictly on merit of the result of the pervious year.
The decision of AIT management will be final.

Admission is purely based on the JEE (Main) All India Rank. No reservation/ quota is available for any category as on date.

No. However, Scholarships are available. Harshmap, Udchalo, TATA Merit, Persistent, Badve and Indian Express Readers Merit Scholarship are awarded to meritorious students. A large number of Merit cum Means scholarships are also disbursed every year to eligible students. Please refer Prospectus on www.aitpune.com for details.

A large number of multinational companies like Microsoft, Amazon, HSBC, Deloitte, ZS Associates, Godrej, Praj Industries, Alfa Laval and Paytm employ our students. For 2021 batch, average Cost to Company (CTC) was Rs 9.45 Lakh per annum and highest CTC was Rs 39 Lakh per annum.
